From the

PODIUM

MARCH 2021

"We are so excited to present two works by two very different composers. Elgar's "Enigma Variations" is one his most revered contributions to the orchestral repertoire and Ray Thompson's arrangement for dectet is stunning. A decidedly more modern work, Ruth Gipps' "Seascape" exudes an almost impressionistic character in her depiction of the sea. It's also fitting that we celebrate what would have been Gipps' 100th birthday in 2021. We hope you enjoy the concert."
